Procertrain Company Provides Continuing Professional Education for Enrolled Agents, CPAs and Tax Attorneys
Procertrain Company LLC was organized in January 2007 by Mark Altemose, a former IRS National Office Program Analyst and Examination Group Manager. Mark compiled a comprehensive CPE training module for tax practitioners titled Representing Taxpayers - IRS Examinations. The training text contains an in-depth discussion of IRS examination polices and procedures as only an insider with over 30 years of audit experience could explain.
The text was submitted to the IRS Office of Director of Practice and a written Program Sponsor Agreement executed between the Chief L&E and Procertrain Company for approval to conduct continuing professional education for Enrolled Agents.
At present, the training text includes seven individual modules for instructional guidance on the step-by-step procedures for effectively representing your clients before the IRS. For further details, click on the “Course Outline” entry on the left-hand menu.
The course, at present, is designed for classroom instruction by Mark Altemose, the company’s instructor. Although the consolidated modules comprise a 16-hour instructional process, abbreviated presentations ranging from 1-16 hours are also available upon request.
Course content is structured to meet IRS Circular 230 guidelines. Written texts are distributed prior to the commencement of the lecture process. A Certificate of Completion is issued upon successful completion (periodic attendance rosters are circulated to verify attendance). Official records for all training sessions are retained for three years.
